" Its funny I only knew her for a little while, we were block mates, although we got pretty close, I didn't even know what unit she was in, the bitch ate my grasshopper pie and then ever since we've been friends, I mean she is another 8, usually either best friends or sworn enemies, I swear there's hardly an in-between. All that said she died today, figured I'd write about it, she left all her stuff in that messy ass room, and I know she's fine, got moved like I did about a year ago now. I might see her, then again I might not, don't even know what unit or position, idk, having no idea if or when I'll ever see her again made that ol messy room hurt that much more. Whatever - I mean they're just memory tools, its just the way of marking the physical, - yet still, I cry, I mean I actually swell up, I feel closer to physical, and claustrophobic, like boxed in I mean. I was 5 maybe 10 minutes late to assignment, just sitting in her room, - like I'm going to see like a thousand other 8's and my 4 literally down the hall and still I felt alone. Whatever- is it like egotistical to miss her? oh shit, we're here catch ya-"
